FLN's first "non" or "virtual" banquet took place 34 years ago in 1977. The original concept behind the Non-Banquet idea was to foster a sense of celebration between FLN and our supporters, without the expense of holding an actual fundraising dinner. The faithful response to this cost-effective annual appeal greatly enables FLN to function effectively and efficiently year-round.

 Low German The ultimate comfort food

A 7-year-old girl lost her life in Mexico recently, when she was struck by a school bus near her home. That evening a stanger came by the grieving parents' house and passed on a Low German Gospel Player, saying, "I will loan this to you for now. I hope you'll find comfort from the Message." They listened all night an dimmediately asked how they could get their own player.
