BUgirl is a ministry aimed at girls aged 10-17 years. Through our events we hope the girls who attend will realize they have been created by a loving God who wants them to walk in freedom, discover their beauty and live a life of purpose.

Beautiful Unique Girl

Beautiful Unique Girl is a national movement reaching out to teenage girls with powerful, life-changing and highly interactive events. Based on Psalm 139, these 4-hour events inspire young women to embrace the truth that God, their creator, values them.

Pajama Party Event (Junior: Grades 5-8 / Senior: Grades 9-12)

The Pajama Party event is an evening for 10 to 17 year old girls from your church and/or community. It is a fun 4-hour event where girls can come on their own or with several friends. There is something for everyone … games, a pizza supper, nail painting, a chocolate fountain fondue, music and a mini concert!

BUgirl speakers share some of their own story and some examples of women in the Bible who discovered God’s purpose for their lives. There will also be a time of reviewing the lies young women are told by their peers and through media and what God has to say about these lies. It’s a night the girls will never forget. Beach Party Event (Junior: Grades 5-8 / Senior: Grades 9-12)

The Beach Party event is an evening for 10 to 17 year old girls where the BUgirl team spends time with girls from your church and/or community. Bring your friends or come by yourself! This 4-hour beach theme party has something for everyone … beach games, a pizza supper, nail painting, yummy smoothies at the tiki bar, music and a mini concert!

BUgirl Internship Program

This is a ministry experience where you will receive training that will allow you to execute events, work in a team, live in community, grow in the gifts God has given you and provide you with the opportunity to have roles in: drama presentations, music, leading discussion, MC, story-telling, speaking, operating sound and lighting and leading worship.

BUgirl Internship Program is:

- an intense 9-month program of full-time touring + training;

- a time for personal and spiritual development through applied learning;

- in-class training including the basics of communicating in the public arena, how to speak into the lives of young girls and the culture that surrounds them, what it means to be a servant leader as Jesus Christ modeled for us;

- an opportunity to travel in Canada and the U.S. and to minister to girls from 10-17 years of age through the Pajama and Beach events;

- an opportunity to share God’s heart with teenage girls grades 5-8 and grades 9-12;

- an opportunity to develop a greater understanding of Canadian and U.S. churches, communities and the challenges each face;

- and an opportunity to serve alongside young women of the same age and with a similar passion to serve Jesus Christ.
